Edwin Blyde have been manufacturing Pewter in Britain since 1798.
With the minimum of care your pewterware will keep its original finish and shine. It should be washed in warm soapy water or in a mild detergent solution and dried with a soft cloth before and after use. If through neglect pewter takes on a patina, the original finish can be restored by polishing with a non-abrasive metal polish. Dishwasher are not to be used due to the very high temperatures and rather strong detergents.
